Skanda Vale Hospice Two Peaks Challenge Switzerland

The challenge

We set off at 8:30 am from Somaskanda Ashram on a steep two-hour ascent to Glattwang Peak. Walking along the ridge from Glattwang offers truly breathtaking 360° views. After a rest at Arflinafurgga Pass, we’ll ascend Mattlishorn before descending to the picturesque picnic spot by Unter-Clunersee Lake. Finally, relax and savour a delicious meal, reflecting on your amazing journey through the Swiss Alps.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable hike

  • You should have good general health and fitness levels.
  • Have no vertigo symptoms.
  • Bring appropriate mountaineering gear: sturdy, high shoes, trekking poles, wind/waterproofs, warm clothes, and sun protection.
  • Allow enough time for the challenge: We recommend you arrive by Friday, September 6th, and depart no earlier than Monday, September 9th.
